Summer 2020 Bucket List

Hey everyone! Happy Friday! I can’t believe we are halfway through this crazy year. Now it’s hot and we are so limited on what we can do. If you read my last blog I said “vacation me!” and I meant that. I’ve had enough of North Carolina so, my friend and I decided to live life on the edge and go to ATL. Honestly, I’m cringing even writing this right now because we are crazy for even going, but we are both in great condition after our weekend trip. We were able to attend some events in ATL and go to the lake where I had such an amazing time at this boat party. I was able to meet so many great people and hang out with some old friends. I received a lot of DMs on Instagram asking about where I got my swim shorts from that I wore on the boat ride and will add some links below for anyone interested.

I know we are still in this pandemic, but I’m trying to find a balance between having fun and being healthy. Being able to go out of town last weekend inspired me to make a summer bucket list something I’ve never done before. With so many things being closed and everything that is happening in the world today it’s easy to become stuck. You start being lazy, less motivated, or forgetting your purpose. Creating this list gives me something to look forward to.

In no specific order, these are a few things I plan on doing this summer (fingers crossed)

  1. Beach trip
  2. Go to Ruth’s Chris– I know you guys are probably like “YOU’VE NEVER BEEN ???” OR “THAT’S OLD NEWS” but no I haven’t, which is crazy because I used to go to restaurants like every weekend. I usually try to go to restaurants that are hidden gems or not the “normal” everyday restaurants in Raleigh, NC. Then, of course, I have the restaurants that I wouldn’t mind going to any day of the week which is what normally happens as well.
  3. Houston, Vegas, or Miami trip
  4. Get more active– I need to start lifting some weights or getting back to constantly doing push-ups every night.
  5. Hiking trip– I’m not the adventurous nature type, but I just want to see a waterfall up close so that’s my motivation on this hiking trail.
  6. Connect with bloggers doing similar things whether it’s fashion and lifestyle blogs or just fashion.
  7. Go to a Picnic or have one, but I don’t know if I want to plan that myself. lol
  8. Finish decorating my apartment.
  9. Go Sky Diving!!! – My friends and I have this in the works, but I can see one of us backing out once we get there because jumping out of a plane just looks so crazy.
  10. Develop a consistent self-care routine.
  11. Start Journaling again.
  12. Bet on me!! but you knew that already 🙂

I challenge you all while being safe to do something you’ve never done before this summer whether it’s something big or small. If you’ve already completed something on your summer bucket list feel free to comment below and tell me. I would love to hear what’s on everyone’s bucket list for Summer 2020.

Enjoy your weekend and be safe! #BLM.

  1. Wise beyond your years! Great job betting on yourself. In the words of Steve Harvey, you have a 100% success rate. You’ve already made it through 100% of your toughest days this far. On my summer bucket list is go hiking and go on a picnic. Awesome post.
